Gala dinner at Delhi Gymkhana
When the purpose is to meet interesting, fun and influential persons – it doesn’t get better than this. We enjoyed every second of interactions with great people from politics, business and entertainment. NICCI member Mohan Sing Verma, one of the very first Indians to settle in Norway -connected us with his impressing network in India. And that is what it is all about, connecting with the right people! Thanks so much for hosting us Chetanya Singh and INCA.

Visits to IndiaSoft and co-located expos (Smart Cities Expo, Startup Hub Expo +++)
Indias largest tech expo means hundreds of companies with smart and sustainable solutions under one roof. Many connections were made. Thanks a lot to Vikrant Saxena and the team in ESC for hosting us. Some of the NICCI delegates even got inspired to join the energetic Bhangra dance at the expo networking dinner.
Work meeting with Invest India
We had an especially constructive meeting with the Invest India team – to plan concrete joint activities in the year to come.
Cocktail evening
On our first night in Delhi we dived straight into the magic of informal meetings. NICCI member Optimax Aces hosted the NICCI delegation for drinks and dialogue. Thanks for giving us a soft landing in Delhi. It was great getting to know you better.
Visit to Nizamuddin
NICCI chair Helge Tryti (that worked in Delhi as head Innovation Norway for 7 years) guides us into the bustling neighborhood and historical landmarks of Nizamuddin. Walking deeper and deeper into the narrow alleys filled with small shops, ending up at the religious sites deep into the heart of the area. Truly something to remember.
Partnering up with Impact Investors Council
The NICCI group met IIC at one of Indias most important business hubs, the futuristic Cyber Hub in Gurgaon. After lunch and planning activities and delegations to bridge impact investments Norway-India, we visited an impact startup BlueSmart. India’s first and leading all-electric ride-hailing mobility service (a fleet of 5000 EV’s in Delhi)
Always expect the unexpected
A surprise wedding invitation? Of course! With no time to think, some of us found ourself going for a late night wedding outside Delhi. It turned out being an extravagant one.
Why do we do it?
We believe in the magic of informal meeting places -to catch up with fellow members and our large network in India, and also hopefully meet that one person that can make a difference for your business.
