The Program 2026
If India is becoming relevant for your company, this is the room to be in
From Dialogue to Business Action
Welcome to a focused business seminar designed to turn recent Norway–India developments into practical insight, relevant connections and concrete next steps.
The plenary programme opens by setting the stage for business action through perspectives on Norway–India relations, government priorities and why India matters now.
Participants then move into key moments shaping the Norway–India business corridor through presentations and conversations on AI, Team Norway in India, maritime opportunities and building together for global markets.
Following the networking break, the programme continues with discussions on the implications of the Modi visit, perspectives from India’s states and executive conversations focused on where Norway–India business cooperation goes next.

Where relevant business relationships begin
With a strong reputation for high-level networking and a relaxed atmosphere, the NICCI Garden Networking Reception has become a highlight of the event.
Taking place immediately after the plenary session, it creates a high-quality setting where the most relevant conversations continue in a more informal and trusted environment.
This is where introductions happen naturally, relationships begin to build, and business dialogue moves forward – often more effectively than in formal sessions.

- Informal networking
Modi has left Oslo. The opportunities have not.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit opened doors – but more importantly, it showed where some of those doors are. The bigger picture is clear: Norway–India cooperation is moving from interest to action. The question now is which companies understand the opportunity early enough.
Key results of the Modi visit:
- A Green Strategic Partnership was announced.
- NHO signed an agreement with CII.
- Innovation Norway strengthened its cooperation with Invest India.
- The Research Council of Norway and CSIR signed an agreement on research, technology and innovation.
- The Norwegian Space Agency and ISRO signed an agreement on space cooperation.
- NGI and India’s National Highways Authority signed an agreement linked to tunnels, slope stability, landslide risk and infrastructure.
- India will have a pavilion at Nor-Shipping 2027.
- Norfund announced plans for a major water infrastructure investment platform with VA Tech WABAG.
- Several NICCI members and partners were directly involved in MoU and agreement activity around the visit, including NHO, Innovation Norway, the Research Council of Norway, NTNU, TCS, Cambi, DNV and Bharatia.
