NICCI Supports IGP Group in Identifying Norwegian Industrial Partners
The Norway India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) is supporting its member, IGP Group, in identifying relevant Norwegian companies for industrial collaboration and long-term partnerships.
Headquartered in Chennai, India, IGP Group comprises nine companies with a combined annual turnover of approximately USD 100 million. The group is now seeking to establish a stronger foothold in Norway and has engaged NICCI to identify relevant partners and facilitate introductions.
IGP Group supplies advanced gaskets, sealing solutions, precision-machined valve components and marine rubber products to the oil & gas, renewable energy and marine sectors. The group has customers and partners in more than 70 countries and supplies internationally recognised companies including Baker Hughes, ExxonMobil and Petrobras, demonstrating its ability to meet demanding international standards.
IGP is interested in collaborating with Norwegian companies as a supplier, contract manufacturer or strategic partner. The company is also exploring investment opportunities in the EUR 3–5 million range to establish new or adapted product lines together with the right Norwegian industrial partner. Through its companies Cori Rubber and IGP Engineers, the group offers products including metallic sealing solutions, precision-machined components and rubber products for industrial applications.
Representatives from IGP Group will be in Stavanger during ONS and will also participate in NICCI’s India Session on 25 August. These events provide an opportunity for Norwegian companies to meet the management team, discuss potential cooperation and explore future business opportunities.
NICCI looks forward to supporting IGP Group in building new industrial partnerships between Norway and India and facilitating introductions that can lead to long-term business collaboration.
