The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) and the Norway India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) was formalised during the First International Science and Technology Clusters Conference at the Dr. Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi on 5th December.

Advancing Indo–Norwegian Collaboration
This MoU focuses on strengthening cooperation in:
- Clean energy
- Industrial decarbonization
- Sustainability
A key highlight of the partnership is the intention to catalyze joint investment opportunities, including Norway-backed investments in Indian clean energy projects. These initiatives aim to support commercial and industrial consumers through integrated Solar + BESS solutions, and to help Indian startups access innovation funding.
Building Cross-Border Innovation
The collaboration will promote:
- Partnerships between industries
- Exchange between startups
- Cooperation between institutions in both ecosystems
The goal is to enable technology exchange, foster innovation, and build long-term pathways for Indo–Norwegian business growth.
