Marking one year of the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), the 2nd India-EFTA Prosperity Summit will bring together Heads of State, Ministers, senior government officials and leading business leaders from India and the EFTA States – Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland – to review progress, deepen collaboration and announce the next wave of investments.
The 2nd India-EFTA Prosperity Summit will be hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event will bring together senior government representatives, business leaders, and strategic partners to further strengthen economic cooperation between India and the EFTA countries.
The Ministry is expecting ministerial delegations and ambassadors from all EFTA member countries. In addition, CEOs, country heads, and senior executives from EFTA companies operating in India, expanding their presence in the market, or exploring new investment opportunities have been invited to participate. The World Economic Forum (WEF) and Arctic Circle have also been invited as partner organizations, highlighting the international significance of the summit and its focus on fostering sustainable growth, innovation, and cross-border collaboration.
The summit will provide a unique platform for dialogue between government and industry leaders, with a particular focus on trade, investment, innovation, and long-term economic partnerships. Participating companies will have the opportunity to engage in roundtable discussions and share perspectives on the evolving business landscape in India.
Companies are invited to attend the roundtable discussions and contribute to the dialogue. Companies are also invited to share information about planned Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), significant investments, expansion plans, technology partnerships, and other initiatives that demonstrate their commitment to the Indian market. The organizers are also interested in hearing about challenges, barriers, or policy considerations that may impact business growth and investment, as these insights will help inform future cooperation and policy development.
Participation would contribute to strengthening the commercial relationship between India and the EFTA countries. Companies interested in attending may indicate their interest, as well as any potential announcements, investment plans, or discussion points they would like to highlight during the summit.
